And it sucks even more because I’m seeing parents of kids with more subtle signs of autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, etc fighting tooth and nail to get them evaluated and diagnosed only to be told their kid is neurotypical when there is definitely something going on. To see these parents who are so completely blind to some very obvious signs- so obvious in the fact that my more experienced coworker watched her for about two seconds before declaring that she was pretty sure LG was on the spectrum.
