We took a risk, it didn’t work out. It’s still better than treading water at mediocre because Caldwell’s W-L records were fluffed up by wins against losing teams. Caldwell needed to fucking go. A couple of more seasons of barely breaking into the playoffs (and abruptly losing) really isn’t better. It’s still the “same old Lions”.I find defensive coaches to be rather bad choices unless they come up with some innovations or really have an eye for talent and have to provide good leadership. He brings nothing to the table and won’t ever get another defensive coordinator job.

Honestly, at this point, I basically WANT us to lose out.
