It’s one of the best Beautiful Have A Smashing Christmas Shirt books I’ve ever read, it’s unfortunate the film was so…Hollywood I guess would be the term for it. The video game is also quite excellent. If you enjoyed the Left 4 Dead games and are looking to scratch a similar itch check out the WWZ game.. it would make an amazing tv show. also, here’s an addendum book with more stories. I agree, it was a really awesome book. I felt, as usual, the movie didn’t do it justice. Just wait until you listen to the audiobook. It is amazing! Full cast and all. Must have listened to it 7 or 8 times. See, I always thought the unbelievable element was how world governments botched their responses to the virus, but… look at how the world (especially the US) is responding to a much less severe threat and how out of control COVID-19 has gotten.

One of my all-time favorites. I remember after my first read (have read it like 10 times at this point, I bought a few weeks after release), I put that book down and for a brief moment, it felt like that had all happened. Lol it looks sadly like the book world war Z will never have its own movie…..don’t. Anyone. Dare. Try to say that movie represents that glorious book It’s a shame the movie was such a pile of trash that had nothing to do with the book. I loved this book and always thought Beautiful Have A Smashing Christmas Shirts each story should’ve been a Netflix season or even episode. If you enjoy that format you’ll also enjoy “Zombie Apocalypse” by Stephen Jones. Quite a similar format – fewer interviews more told through transmissions, texts, emails, letters, broadcasts, etc. This is a book I loved and gave as a gift to my friend many years ago.
